Michelle Aubee, Dipl. Ac., L.Ac, is a nationally and NJ state licensed acupuncturist and practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She received her Master’s degree in Acupuncture from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM) in New York. She graduated with academic honors and completed over 3,500 hours of training.
Michelle incorporates not only acupuncture, but a combination of various healing modalities for the most effective outcome, including: cupping, gua sha, tui na, ear seeds, e-STIM, and herbal liniments. She also uses special tools and techniques to treat pediatric patients, including, shoni shin, manaka hammer, magnet therapy, pediatric tui na, and sound therapy using tuning forks to activate major acupuncture points to clear and reset the body.
In addition to her training at PCOM, she completed an internship at the VA Hospital in New York City treating veterans with PTSD, physical pain and injuries, chemotherapy side effects, neuropathy, diabetes, hypertension and much more.
Michelle is certified in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture (FRA) taught by Virginia Doran. FRA is a non-surgical method which reduces the signs of the aging process by lifting, tightening, and firming the skin and muscles of the face, scalp, and neck. This technique stimulates the body’s ability to increase the production of collagen naturally, resulting in a revitalized and more youthful appearance.
Her specialties include: stress, anxiety, sleep disorders, gastrointestinal disorders, musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction, neuropathy, allergies, and postpartum issues such as postpartum depression, low breast milk supply, and pain. She is passionate about finding ways to treat moms, especially postpartum, because she feels there are not many postpartum support resources.
